Frontier Farm Credit is governed by a Board of Directors that reflects the diversity of agriculture in the Association’s territory of eastern Kansas. Effective April 1, 2020, the Board will consist of three Directors elected by customer-owners and one appointed by the Board to provide an outside perspective.
Previously, the Board consisted of six elected Directors. Ronald Dunbar of Princeton, Kansas, was elected to the Board in 2003. Due to term limits, he was ineligible for re-election in 2020. Also leaving the Board are Jennifer Gehrt of Alma, Kansas, and Steve Powers of Chanute, Kansas. Gehrt was first elected to the Board in 2011 and Powers in 2010. The Board and Association leadership are thankful for their many years of service to the Association and its customer-owners.
The terms of current Directors are staggered to allow for the election of at least one Director annually.
