Our community involvement program focuses on ag education, hunger and nutrition, and rural disaster relief / essential services. We support these initiatives through employee volunteering, financial contributions and grants.
Our Working Here Fund grant program supports nonprofit projects and programs that align with our mission to serve agriculture and rural communities. These grants make a positive impact in eastern Kansas.
Volunteering is one of many ways we serve the communities we and our customer-owners call home. Each year, we allocate 16 hours of paid time to employees to volunteer at local organizations of their choosing. When employees volunteer as a group, we provide matching dollars to the organization.
We also match employees' direct donations to nonprofit organizations – up to $500 per employee per year to maximize their impact.
We offer annual scholarships to qualified students studying agriculture at the land grant university and community colleges in Kansas.
