Sponsorship Program Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Customer Education Sponsorship Program (the “Program”). By submitting your request for sponsorship, you are agreeing to and understand the following:

Purpose

The purpose of the Program is to provide educational opportunities for customers of Farm Credit Services of America® and Frontier Farm Credit® (the “Associations”). The Associations will sponsor selected participants to attend agricultural-related education activities, conferences, meetings, and other similar events (the “Event”). Each sponsorship will consist of the reimbursement of registration or attendance cost for an approved Event in an amount determined solely by the Associations. At the discretion of the Associations, sponsorships will be approved following a review of the request from an Association customer. Travel, lodging and other similar expenses will not be reimbursed and are the responsibility of the customer. Events that already receive financial support from the Associations to make them more affordable and/or widely available are excluded. This includes Annie’s Project.

Eligibility

NO PURCHASE OR OTHER CONSIDERATION IS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE REQUEST. PARTICIPATION IS VOLUNTARY AND WILL NOT BE REQUIRED OF ANY CUSTOMER. The following are eligible to submit a request for participation in the Program:

• Association customers residing within the Associations’ chartered territories (Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, and eastern Kansas)
• Who is at least nineteen (19) years of age
• Whose loans, leases or other accounts with the Associations are in good standing (not in default for any reason)

Each such customer (or customer representative in the case of an entity customer) may receive only one (1) sponsorship per calendar year. The date of attendance for the approved event will serve as the reference year for the one-per-year limit. All applications must be approved in advance of attendance at an educational event. The Associations reserve the right to reject any application for any reason.

Reimbursement requests must be submitted to learn@fcsamerica.com within 14 calendar days after attending the event.

Employees, officers and directors of Farm Credit Services of America, Frontier Farm Credit, their subsidiaries and affiliated companies are ineligible. Representatives or direct family or household members of employees, officers or directors also are ineligible. “Direct related or direct family” means a person related to the employee, officer or directors as a parent, child, sibling, stepparent, stepchild, step-sibling, half-sibling, uncle or aunt, niece or nephew, grandparent, grandchild, or spouse. “Member of household” shall mean any persons residing in the same home as such employees, officers, or representatives.

Release and Conditions

By submitting the request, you release, discharge and agree to hold harmless the Associations, their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents for any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to property or person, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from or in connection with participation in the Program or in any related activities.

Except where legally prohibited, applicants grant to the Associations the right to the use, without additional compensation, of their names, pictures, likeness, voice, and biographical information for advertising, trade publicity, promotional and commercial purposes in all media without prior notice, review, or approval.

Taxes on any funds granted to the customer are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Sponsors

The “Sponsors” of this Program are Farm Credit Services of America, ACA, and Frontier Farm Credit, ACA. Applications for a sponsorship may be made online only. Questions may be submitted to learn@fcsamerica.com.

All rights associated with the promotion and conduct of the Program are reserved by the sponsors.
