On behalf of the Morris County Fair Association (MCFA), the Council Grove Area Foundation received funds from Frontier Farm Credit for fairgrounds plumbing repairs and updates.
The Morris County Fairgrounds will replace leaking and broken fixtures and apparatuses to help keep the facilities in good working order. The MCFA purchased a new hot water heater, three toilets, four faucets and two sinks. The plumbing maintenance also assists the fairgrounds in becoming ADA compliant, which increases the facilities’ water conservation, sanitation, safety and accessibility. Other benefits
The MCFA plans and promotes annual 4-H and open class fairs for those in Morris, Chase, Lyon and Dickinson counties.
